Plant and seed shipping

Plants and seeds are regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture and by each state's agriculture department. The rules differ by state, change, and in some places forbid particular plants, seeds or soil outright.

What we do about it

• We do not ship live plants, soil or plant material to places that restrict them, for example Hawaii and the US territories.
• We check every order's delivery state against the federal and state rules before it ships.
• If we cannot legally send an order to your state, we cancel it and refund it in full, shipping included.

Your part

You are responsible for knowing what you may grow, keep and plant where you live. If you are unsure, ask your state's department of agriculture before you order.
